Meditation Goals in Rehnadee Shum

Rehnadee Shum Meditation Goals – List

"Who Am I?"

Have you deeply pondered this question?
A simple answer to this is of course your name.
Your name was given to you, you didn't choose it yourself, unless if you've changed yourself.
With your name you identify yourself and create your personality around it.
This begs the question again of 'Who I am?' Who is this 'I' that accepts a name and decides on things like what I like to eat, how to dress or my favourite colour?
Have we just discovered a layer of 'I' that is seemingly behind our namesake I?

If you find yourself getting curious about the origins of who you are beyond your name and what you like and don't, then you are seeking that part of you that is the at your core.
It also means that you are a mystic or a mystic at heart in search of self-discovery.
You will realise that though you are as normal as everyone else, you are besought by an uncommon interest about the you within you.
This not infatuations about seeking for  superhero-like mystical powers, on the contrary you couldn't be bothered about anything like that.
Instead you are fervent about wanting to know – Who Am I?
If you step on this path of self-discovery you are naturally interested in meditation and its goals.
Goals that promise to answer the primordial question through mystic experiences known as spiritual enlightenment.

In Rehnadee Shum this path of self-discovery is a gradual uncovering of layers and layers around yourself.
Enlightenment experiences are hidden in the plain sight embedded in layers of consciousness.
Whether you are looking for it or not is what matters.
States of enlightenment are numerous mystic experiences.
They inject quiet fulfillment and enjoyment of the realms within the Innerverse.
You are not anywhere else but within yourself.
Yet it is a journey of discovery of new places and experiences.
It is the enjoyment of the sublime and causal energies of life within life that makes you, you.

Rehnadee Shum and Enlightenment

In English the word enlightenment in its spiritual context describes an euphoric experience that is had by a meditator or a mystic. Enlightenment is often explained by couching it into poems, or paragraphs describing out of the world experiences that are amazing and highly enjoyable. This is true of other languages too. Sanskrit, which is the language of yoga and the seat of Eastern mysticism offers only a slightly more comprehensive understanding of spiritual enlightenment. Yoga teachings describe enlightenment as two distinct experiences, the first is similar to the euphoric experience described previously, the second is the 'ultimate' state of enlightenment which is best described as the experience of 'nothingness'. Both these languages conjur a perception that such mystical experiences are attainable only through immense effort and with training under the guidance of a strict teacher.
Rehnadee Shum's take on enlightenment is different because of its revelation of Shummef–The Shum Perspective. Shummef describes the mind as an expanse of realms of reality through which we function. It includes our physical world and expands to the mystic realms that exist within all our minds. Using the language a mystic experience can be pointedly labled not only for what the experience is but also where it is placed in the expansive mind described in Shummef. This leads to very nuaunced understanding of enlightenment and also how it can be experienced with the path to it charted in a meditation map. This precise description of mystic experiences and pathways to reach them means that even a novice meditator can seek and attain an enlightenment experience that is closest to his or her current ability. It is a far cry from dreaming of enlightenment and hoping for a mystic experience while meditating and faced with an uncertain timeline.
In Rehnadee Shum the practice of meditation boils down to meditation maps, which is an essential element of Shummef. Meditation maps break the quest for spiritual enlightenment into 'bite-sized portions.' They allow a novice meditator to build mystic skills and attempt enlilghtenment goals that are closest to their ability. Once achieved the mystic develops confidence in his or her ability which builds the launchpad for the next goal of a deeper experience of enlightenment. Thus, the next adventure on the Path of Enlightenment begins with a new meditation map.
There isn't a singular word for enlightenment in Rehnadee Shum like you can find in other languages. This is simply because Rehnadee Shum recognises that experiences that are clumped together in word enlightenment are actually various experiences that exists in different dimensions for which there ae different pathways to attain. These experiences of enlightenment in their specific dimensions require varying mystic skills and different approaches to reach, which are all laid out in the meditation map of that specific enlightenment experience. Thus instead of the word enlightenment in Rehnadee Shum, it is The Path of Enlightenment – TyaeeShaLeeUngTiiCha. This Path is a course that lays out all the various goals of meditations which are enlightenment experiences across the dimensions of the Innerverse.

States of Enlightenment

There are four categories of mystic experiences that are used as goals of meditation maps. They are as follows:

  • The First are mystic skills. In Rehnadee Shum, UngTiiCha. UngTiiCha are necessary skills to master to progress in meditation. Mystic skills include techniques such as the ability see thought pictures in the mind, to visualise, different methods of breathing, breath modulation, physical postures such as for sitting to meditate and such. These are obviously not enlightenment experiences but important skills for a mystic to master at the beginning of meditative effort to enable efficient progress later on the Path.
  • The Second is mystic strength. In Rehnadee Shum, LeeUngTiiCha. LeeUngTiiCha are meditation goals that are mystic experiences that exhilarate consciousness, are enjoyable and embody mystic fulfillment. These goals are enlightenment experiences which in Sanskrit yoga scriptures are collectively named Satchitananda. Satchitananda are three words put together. Sat, means Truth, Chit means Consciousness and Ananda means Bliss. In Rehnadee Shum it is Kaeef. Kaeef is Pure Consciousness and it is the placeholder lable for all mystic experiences that touch into the core of one's being. Here are some examples of Kaeef experiences. Seeing bright light in the mind, feeling scintillating energy emanating from the core of being into the body, experiencing the expansion of consciousness or consciousness condense into dense sphere of strength, experiencing rays of energy as colour that translate to sublime uplifting emotions and so forth. Experiencing Kaeef in its many wonderful forms builds the mystic strength of a meditator. Each of the Kaeefs is a goals that is fixed in a higher dimension that is the next to the limit of a mystics current ability, thus attaining it develops the mystic's strength that provides access the next higher dimension. In the States of Enlightenment these experiences are The Kaeefs.
  • The Third is mystic fulfillment. In Rehnadee Shum, ShaLeeUngTiiCha. ShaLeeUngTiiCha is an elevated part of The Path where the trek is the steepest. ShaLeeUngTiiCha is the culmination of building mystic strength to the point that the mystic naturally yearns for the ultimate state of enlightenment. This ultimate state of enlightenment is Emkaeef; in Rehnadee Shum. Emkaeef; is a singular experience that is converse to the spectrum of experiences held in The Kaeefs. You can learn more about Emkaeef; by clicking this link. ShaLeeUngTiiCha is mystic fulfillment because there is nothing but 'nothingness' through and beyond Emkaeef; . How and why this experience is the ultimate and most fulfilling among spiritual enlightenment states is as mysterious as Emkaeef; itself. There is only one goal at this course of The Path and it is the most challenging and requires the guidance of a Rehnadee Shum Master to traverse.
  • The Fourth is the mystic master. In Rehnadee Shum, TyaeeShaLeeUngTiiCha. TyaeeShaLeeUngTiiCha is The Path of Enlightenment and it is also the course in the Path which holds post-enlightenment goals. These goals are experiences that the mystic will be able to access only after attaining  Emkaeef; . These enlightenment goals are part of The Kaeefs but of higher dimensions that becomes accessible to the mystic after Emkaeef; . The goals in this level of the course include consolidation of Emkaeef; as the anchor of the mystics consciousness, growing of a soul-body around the mystics awarness (Na'amm) and developing skills of a master to be able to guide other mystics on the Path.

This entry of the LinReh lists all the spiritual enlightenment goals and in some instances pre-enlightenment goals that are used in meditation maps which are not mystic skills goals. They are listed as The Kaeefs, Emkaeef: and Kaeefs Post-Emkaeef; .

Kaeef – Enlightenment Experiences of Pure Consciousness

Kaeef

What is Pure Consicousness?
Think of your right little-finger.
Feel the finger with your mind without moving it.
Concentrate on the finger for a little bit, you will feel a sensation on your finger.
Realise that you are aware of your little-finger.
Concentrate on this realisation until the sensation on your right little finger goes away.
You are now feeling your consciousness conscious of itself.
This is Kaeef or Pure Consciousness.

This simple exercise is a simulation of Kaeef that Gurudeva taught me.  I use the word simulation because the aim of this exercise is to simply, even if for a moment, experience the quiet of your mind and not be engaged in anything else. When you are in your mind, while you are awake and cognizant but your mind is completely still, you become conscious of consciousness. The quietness of the mind is not the only thing emanating from consciousness, you will also feel the force of your life, and the energy of you.
Each of these elements –the quietness of the mind, the force of life and you yourself– is the subject of Kaeef. In Rehnadee Shum meditations they expand into goals of enlightenment as you explore the Innerverse from one of its mystic dimension to the next as you build your mystic strength.

Emkaeef; – Ultimate State of Spiritual Enlightenment

Emkaeef is The Self-God

emkeaflex

 Emkaeef;

The ultimate goal of all Rehnadee Shum meditation is Emkaeef; .
Emkaeef; lies at the mystery-filled confluence of existence and  non-existenc.
It is at the brink of consciousness beyond which is transcendence and
after which is the spring of consciousness
from whence all Creation issues forth.
It is 'Nothingness' by the spritual-mystic traditions of the East,
most sought after goal of enlightentment to conclusively quell the question of life.

Emkaeef; is a parradox.
If you can accept that the world around us came out of nothing that –
that nothing is the source of this vast Universe,
that before the creation of the Universe there was no conciousness and no history –
if you can hold the significance and consequences of these thoughts in your mind,
and dissolve your likeness, your spirit into this ultimate quiet,
then perhaps you can simulate the experience of Emkaeef; .

Emkaeef; means The Absence of Consciousness.
But It is not death, instead It is Life –
The Source of All Life and even Existences as we experience it.
Its quest reserved for the Rehnaa who yearns for It,
who pleades with his Master for the way to It.
For the Divine Darkness that envelopes the Path to It,
can only be traversed by the Great Mystics who Seek without Seeking It.

My Guru who was my Master on the Path revealed to me that "The Self–Emkaeef; does not make you great, it makes you complete." In a sermon that he gave in the early days of his ministry that was later transcribed into an essay – The Self-God in which he expounds on Emkaeef; he gave the following visualisation:
"If you can imagine infront of you–nothing, to the back of you–nothing, to your left–nothing, to your right–nothing, above you–nothing, below you–nothing, then imagine your being dissolving into that nothingness, yet that nothingingness is not the absence of something but the fullness of everything, you can have a sense of The Self-God"–Emkaeef; .
This is just a simulation of the experience of Emkaeef; . To have the real experience requires extensive preparation of the body, mind and spirit needed to awaken the Kundalini and then properly direct this potent primordial spiritual force to break the seal of the Brahmarandhra within the Crown Chakra  soar consciousness into the 14th dimension.

Shummef the Shum perspective has Emkaeef; as its ultimate enlightenment goal. Shummef holds that the purpose of life on Earth is to grow spiritually and that this sojourn on Earth completes after the attainment of Emkaeef;. Emkaeef; grants the mystic total access to all faculties of the mind, meaning the mystic can now develop mystic capabilities beyond what was previously possible pre-Emkaeef;. This is in the realm of post-Enlightenment.

In Rehnadee Shum, the word Emkaeef; is a 14th dimension Image-Portrait. The 14th dimension is the deepest spiritual dimension that exists in the Cosmology of Shummef. Within this dimension is the spiritual singularity that is Emkaeef; . There is nothing else to be experienced in this realm. Thus Emkaeef; is a single experience of enlightenment juxtaposing Kaeef's myriad of Pure Consciousness extrapolates that spans most of the Innerverse.
The want to attain Emkaeef; must appear naturally in a Rehnaa as a consequence of mystic strength which is developed from exploration of Kaeef enlightenment states. This is the spiritual effort of the Intermediate Level – LeeUngTiiCha – on the Path of Enlightenment. When a Rehnaa's mystic strength is sufficiently mature curiorsity of Emkaeef; will develop. From this an inherent desire to want to attain Emkaeef; forms. This is not akin to normal desire for things or experiences that a Rehnaa is previously used to because this is a desire for the 'Nothing.' Desires by their nature spur effort to get something, be it something physical or an emotional or spiritual experience. Even Kaeef enlightenment experiences fall into this category of normal desires.
The emergence of the inherent desire for Emkaeef; will signal to a Rehnadee Shum Master that the Rehnaa is ready to attempt to attain Emkaeef; . From here the Rehnaa will move from the Intermediate Level Meditation Maps to the Advanced Levels. All the Maps at this level have only one goal, Emkaeef; . The meditation maps at this level will be determined by the Master who will prescribe a meditation schedule that is more intense than at the previous level and the Master will take on a more hands-on approach to guide the Rehnaa to successfully attain Emkaeef; which lies at the Summit of Mystic Effort for the Rehnaa.

The links to the meditation maps in this section are series that have successfully led Rehnaas to Emkaeef. These maps all carry the goal of Emkaeef; and are grouped together in a sequence of practices that has led a mystic to Emkaeef; . Overtime the number of these map groupings will grow as more successful paths leading to Emkaeef; are discovered by entrepid Rehnadee Shum mystics.

The Potentate of Peace

He sits in a cave way up in a mountain; he perceives no other beings of any significance to him; he is alone sitting so deep in the cavern it only catches reducing rays of light; he is by himself in quiet perception of a moment of stasis peacefully persisting. ¶
Change is imperceptible outside him and the movement of moments have become meaningless. He is purposefully poised in a timeless state. Mystics yearn for such prolonged period of solitude; they proclaim that in such quietness are the quintessential quandaries of life quelled. ¶
He has trained to forego eating and drinking for days in the hopes that his extended effort in continuing solitude yields esoteric secrets or perhaps he is just addicted to the extreme quiet – a non-adrenaline junky. ¶
Whatever the motive that makes mankind seek simulations of timelessness across the historical timeline of our civilizations there is more to 'the quiet' than meets the eye. ¶
Sitting in solitude dissecting stillness results but in more stillness, it surges in magnitude and minutia to encompass the entire universe webbing the quiet of micro and macro space. ¶
Concentric expansion of the calm bestows its largesse in the sensation of soar, like an eagle experiencing the quietude of unperturbed expanse, exhilaration touches the tangible, excites the being, inspiration builds on inspiration. The soaring stillness of solitude, inspired by inspiration. ¶
The coursing of breath into the quiet caverns and cavities of the solitary soldier seeking the secrets of solitude invigorates his infinitesimal factories of life while drawing him deep into the darkness of diminutive space. Dissolving in its depth, descending into the infinitude of smallness the soldier stumbles upon the solid state of serenity. ¶
Oscillating on contrived organizing of concentration with his consciousness qui vive on quiet he floats in the soar of solitude at one moment, then conjoins with the sail of serenity the other. ¶
Moving in meticulously metered moments between motionless macro and micro spaces the mystic masterfully mixes placid serenity with purposeless inspiration to crescendo into a magnificent moment of absolute all encompassing quiet. ¶
The mystified mystic mesmerized by the mind-engulfing-quiet melds with it, yet remains in a mysterious state of mono-experience. The cave has collapsed from his consciousness, yea, his consciousness too has collapsed into the colossal calm, yet he remains perfectly poised for what is to come. ¶
For beckoning through the dimensional doorway developed by cumulative beats of big and small quiet,
Behold! The awesome being of quiet –
The Potentate of Peace. ¶

I wrote this poem in 2013 in a moment of inspiration after reflecting back at my time when I was with my guru in his monastery, and of how he had helped me realise that I had attained Emkaeef; . After finally acknowledging to myself that I had indeed attained Emkaeef; my guru gave me a final instruction. He told me, "After you realise the Self, you must keep realising it. After that you must help at least one other person realise the Self."
A few very short months after that we – his congregation – lost him to cancer.
At the time I was 30 years old. I continued my life as a monk even as I lived by myself and filling my time with classes teaching yoga and giving Hindu philosophy classes to the youth in Malaysia. My personal mantra was my guru's instruction to keep touching into Emkaeef; , a process that got easier each time I meditated until it became second nature to me. Nowadays all I have to do to get into Emkaeef; is just a few minutes of quiet time in stillness. I close my mind, stop thinking and focus on a point about an arms length above my head. After that after my consciousness reconstitutes, I feel my soul body, which is a spiritual body that begins developing around a mystics consciousness after Emkaeef; is attained.
TyaeeShaLeeUngTiiCha, Post-Enlightenment, has within it three segments. The first is the Rehnaa convincing him or herself that they had indeed attained Emkaeef; and to locate the tell-tale signs of having touched into Emkaeef; . The Master will know if a Rehnaa had attained Emkaeef; before he or she does, however the Master will only gently bring the Rehnaa into this acknowledgment allowing the Rehnaa to even deny the possibility until they themselves realise the changes within their consciousness and realise how and what it is like to attain Emkaeef. The experience of Emkaeef; is recognised by understanding its consequence to the mind and this happens after a few more experiences of Emkaeef;. After that the second segment starts with consistant practice of meditation to keep touching into Emkaeef; . The third segment happens simultaneously as the second, though it is only felt later during the Emkaeef; exercises when the Rehnaa's soul body is sufficiently strong enough that the being feels tangible to the mystic senses of the advanced Rehnaa.
The links to the meditation maps in this section gets back into the exploration of the Innerverse and more experiences of the Kaeefs, but this time of a deeper nature. Before Emkaeef; is attained a Rehnaa's experience of the Kaeefs are limited up to the 7th dimension. The dimensions above the 7th, which are from 8 through to 10 are accessible after a Rehnaa has attained Emkaeef; and has acknowledged this attainment. The goals of these maps are just a pure wonder of the highest dimensions of the Innerverse and recognising the growth of one's soul body.
